- Children and Pets: Keep the Campstick and any attached bins out of the direct path of children and pets to prevent injuries from tripping over or pulling on it. Place the Campstick in a visible area to avoid accidents like tripping or colliding with it, especially in low light or crowded camping scenarios.
- Stable Ground: Insert the Campstick into firm, stable ground to avoid it becoming loose. Avoid overly soft or sandy areas where stability might be compromised, which could lead to the stick or attached waste bin falling over.
- Depth and Angle: Ensure the stick is inserted deep enough to support the weight of the bin and its contents. Always stick the Campstick at a 90 degree angle to the surface. An angle that's too steep or shallow might not provide enough stability, potentially causing the stick to tip or come loose.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the weight capacity of the bin when attached to the Campstick. Overloading can cause the stick to bend, break, or come out of the ground.
